How to plant chives in a pot?

1. Prepare loose and fertile soil in a pot

2. Trim the leaves from the chive tubers

3. Healthy tubers should have thick roots.

4. Plant the tubers upright

5. Water daily

In just 2 weeks after planting the chives will be ready for harvest.

Do not pull the whole plant upon harvest but only trim the leaves as much as you need.

The chives will grow more shoots and cover the pot in no time at all. It that care the chives need to be transplanted in other pots.
