The sunniest part of my front garden was covered in lawn. I needed more space toplant the veggies so I had to let the lawn go. I hired a builder to make a concrete raised bed. It took him only a day to finish the 2 x 1 m construction. The next day I filled the bed with dried leaves, compost, and earthworms. The raised bed became the center piece in my garden.
