Nakji Bokkeum
Nakji means small octopus in Korean while bokkeom means fry. So nakji bokkeum means fried small octopus. Here´s how to make nakji bokkeum in 3 simple steps:
1. Marinate 1 cup of octopus in 2 tbs of soy sauce, 1/2 tbs of chili flake, 1 tbs of chili paste (kojujang), 1 tbs of minced garlic, 1 tbs of sugar, and 1 tsp of corn starch.
2. Saute 1/2 cup of cabbage, 1/2 cup of onion, 1/2 cup of leek, 1/4 cup of carrot, and 1/4 cup of jalapeno in 1 tbs of oil for 3 minutes.
3. Saute the marinated octopus with the vegetables for 2 more minutes and...done.
