Ayam Kelapa Sangrai
A friend a mine, mbak Nuzul, who is from Sulawesi island introduced me to her favorite dish from a region in Sulawesi, Wolio. The dish is made of scallion, toasted shredded coconut, tamarind, and chicken. It is called Ayam Kelapa Sangrai.
Recipe:
1. saute 4 sliced scallions, 2 tbs of toasted shredded coconut, and a tbs of vegetable oil
2. add 300 gr of chickenand sit it
3. add 1 cup of coconut milk and 2 cups of water, 1/2 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tbs of tamarind
4. add more toasted shredded coconut to your preference and boil until 1/3 of the soup remains
