Vietnamese Spring Roll
If you don´t like cooking and are in diet, this Vietnamese spring roll is perfect for you because most of its ingredients are raw vegetables. The most important ingredient to make this spring roll is the Vietnamese rice paper. I bought mine for Rp 40.000 per 100 sheets.
Recipe:
1. wash and cut 3-4 kinds of fresh vegetables (see picture)
2. boil 1/2 chicken breast for 15 minutes and cut into long strips,
3. sprinkle a pinch of salt and sesame oil, if you have any, on the chicken strips
3. boil 4 large prawns for 10 minutes, peel, and cut into two horizontally
4. dip the rice paper in warm water for 30 seconds and place it on a flat surface
5. put the vegetable, chicken, and prawn strips on the rice paper and roll it
How to make the sauce:
Mix 1 lime juice, 1 tbs of sugar, 1/2 of minced garlic, 1/2 tbs of minced chili, and a pinch of salt.
