Nangka Banana Harvest
There are three banana trees growing at my side garden at the moment. One is bearing ready-to-harvest fruits and another one is blooming a big velvety flower. I harvested the banana bunch yesterday because I didn´t want them to ripe on the tree.
The banana trees feed only on compost from the kitchen scraps. They grow right next to the compost pile. Perhaps that is why they produce unusually big bananas. I don´t know how to finish them all when they ripe at the same time. Luckily this type of banana can be made into crispy chips when it is unripe. That is one way to preserve abundant nangka banana harvest.
