Kangkung

Kangkung or water spinach/water morning glory is one of the easiest green vegetables to grow in tropical Indonesia. It requires a lot of water to grow but other than that kangkung needs so special care. I planted 3 kangkung plants last 2 months. Look at them now.

Kangkung can be sauted or added to soups. I cooked my harvest the Balinese way. It´s called plecing kangkung. It is spicy, sweet, sour, and salty at the same time. Just perfect for lunch.
