Microwaved Mochi
Several days ago I learned that mochi skin could be heated with microwave so it reduced the amount of work I used to make mochi.
Recipe:
1. mix one cup of water, one cup of glutinous rice flower, 2 tbs sugar, a pinch of salt until it becomes a mixture 2. heat it in microwave for 4 minutes,the liquid mixture will turn into a gooey dough 3. scoop the dough a spoonful at a time, toss is on sesame seeds to prevent sticking and fill it with peanut filling (crushed fried peanut mixed with margarine, salt, and sugar) and cover the peanut with the dough,shape it into a ball. Very easy, isn't it?
