Fruit Cake
My grandmother´s fruit cake recipe is the best. It is moist and juicy. She used to make it every lunar new year.
My mom passed down my grandmother´s fruit cake recipe:
1. prepare in bowl 1: 1 cup of salted margarine/butter, 1 cup of powder sugar, 6 egg yolks, a pinch of vanilla (Preheat the oven at 200 C) 2. prepare 6 egg white in bowl 2 and mix it until it's fully and stiff 3. Mix the ingredients in bowl 1 and when it's creamy, add 1 cup + 1 tbs of flour in the batter, mix well. 4. Add dried fruits in the batter in bowl 1, be creative to use various kind of dried fruits 5. Mix fluffy egg white in bowl 2 and the batter in bowl 1 as fast as possible 6. Cover the cake tray with butter/oil and dust it with flour 7. Pour the batter in the tray and oven it for 25 minutes
