Day 1: Karimun Jawa Islands - Wisma Apung
Wisma apung was the name of our homestay in Karimun Jawa. Wisma Apung means ``floating house``. The platform and the buildings were made of wooden planks and they were literally floating in the sea. In the middle of the homestay, there was a small pool where we could play with the sharks, skates, and sea stars.
I must admit, I was a little bit scared to dip in myself in the pool. I didn´t think the idea of swimming with the sharks appealing. It turned out to be okay. The sharks were not interested in eating me.
The pool water was fishy and cold. My girl refused to swim in the pool.
